Inspiration
As an architect with years of experience, my journey began in high school when I wrote a history paper on Frank Lloyd Wright's iconic Fallingwater house. The way it harmonized with its natural surroundings sparked a passion in me for designing spaces that blend seamlessly with their environments. I went on to study architecture in Tennessee, where I had the privilege of interning and working with a prominent architectural firm in Nashville.
Training
My path then led me to Madison, Wisconsin, where I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for graduate school. Madison's vibrant community and natural beauty captured me, and I decided to make this city my home. Here, I’ve been able to pursue my love for architecture while connecting with the people and places that make this area so unique.
Practice
I’m always curious and eager to learn, particularly about the evolving field of building science and how structures can coexist with nature in meaningful ways. My practice focuses on creating sustainable, elegant designs that respect both the client’s needs and the environment.
Leisure
When I’m not working, I enjoy traveling with my family and exploring the wonderful dog parks in the Madison area with our dog. These experiences continuously inspire me, both personally and professionally, as I seek to create spaces that reflect the harmony I see between people and nature.
