House Architect (HA) is a boutique design studio located in Madison Wisconsin. HA was founded by architect, Philip Ashby, on the premise to provide comprehensive design services for custom residential and commercial hospitality projects . Philip and his team are dedicated to crafting forms and spaces that seamlessly blend aesthetics, functionality, sustainability, and innovation to create a sense of place and belonging.
APPROACH
HA approaches each project with a holistic design philosophy. HA's design process includes the disciplines of planning, architecture, interior and exterior space design. This approach provides a curated experience from indoors to outdoors resulting in spaces with a sense of place and belonging. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, HA is dedicated to their client's experience that is inclusive and collaborative with everyone on the project team.
PROJECT TYPES
HA residential design services specializes in single-family houses, house additions and remodels. Commercial design services specializes in hospitality projects such as food service, lodging, and entertainment spaces.
PRO BONO
