Frostwoods One
Project Overview
This unbuilt project reimagines a modest mid-1950s post-war tract house into a contemporary home inspired by mid-century modern design principles. Originally spanning 1,700 square feet, the remodel includes new siding to refresh the existing structure, while the addition brings transformative new spaces.
The addition features a serene screen porch and a spacious deck for seamless indoor-outdoor living. Inside, a new family room becomes the central gathering space, complemented by a luxurious primary suite offering comfort and privacy. Practical needs are met with a well-organized mudroom and a two-car garage, while a future media room on the lower level provides flexibility for evolving family needs.
Thoughtful design details honor the home's mid-century roots, incorporating clean lines, large windows, and natural materials that harmonize with the surrounding landscape. Frostwoods exemplifies how timeless architectural principles can adapt to meet the demands of modern living.
